Honeybees are in decline nationwide, and they're irreplaceable for cross-pollination of nearly every crop in Texas. So when a customer calls with a hive in their soffit, dormer, or wall, we don't reach for a spray can — we reach for our extraction kit.
How live bee removal works
A certified beekeeper on our team suits up in killer-bee-rated PPE, locates the colony (often with thermal imaging), and carefully extracts the hive along with the queen. Bees are transported to a partner apiary and given a new home.
Why the honeycomb has to come out too
This is the step most companies skip. Leaving honeycomb behind is a recipe for a repeat infestation — the residual pheromones and honey attract new swarms within weeks, plus rodents and moths. We remove every scrap of comb and clean the void.
What about killer bees?
Africanized ('killer') bees require different handling for safety reasons. We are equipped for aggressive swarms and treat them per Texas state regulations, prioritizing bystander and homeowner safety.
